Have you ever questioned God's sense of timing? What can we do when we don't have all the answers? On this morning, we looked to the Scriptures to see what Habakkuk learned in difficult, confusing circumstances and examined what we can do when we struggle and have doubts.

It is important to find a good rhythm of work, rest and play in our lives. Sabbath is a vision and the goal of creation. In it we rediscover our place within the Lord and within the universe. We rediscover our specialness as sons and daughters of God. We are re-centered. We are rejuvenated. And these kinds of shapings are really powerful in our lives. We look toward the Scripture in Exodus 20:8-11 to read about Sabbath and Pastor Steve remarks on this commandment and these values.

Marriage and family life is tough. We are broken people living in a fragmented society, but God's Word gives us direction for how we are called to care for ourselves, our children and our spouses. Pastor Steve reads from Ephesians 5:15 - 6:4 and gives insight and encouragement to work towards a better family life. |
